¶ Preparation
- Tools: scissors, new ink cartridge, lint-free cloth, PVC gloves.
- Safety Precautions: It is recommended to wear PVC gloves before operation to prevent oil or sweat from contaminating the equipment components, and to avoid ink sticking to your hands.
¶ Operating Steps
- Adjust position: First, move the print head to the center of the sliding rail, then disconnect the printer power supply to leave sufficient space for subsequent operations.
- Disassemble the component: Loosen the nuts on both sides of the carriage and remove the carriage cover plate.
Step 1: Move upward to lock the ink tube clip
Step 2: Secure the ink tube clip
- Slightly lift and securely snap the ink tube clip above the cartridge to be replaced to prevent excessive ink leakage during operation.
- Remove the white card located above the ink cartridge cover.
- Grasp the top part of the ink cartridge where it connects to the ink tube, and gently rock it upward to remove.
Note: Only grasp the narrow sides of the cartridge; avoid touching the plastic film, as this may cause ink leakage or damage.
- Use scissors to grip the end of the ink tube and gently pull it outward to detach the tube from the ink cartridge. (For dual-ended cartridges, repeat this step twice, paying attention to the order of front and back color tubes, which must remain consistent during reinstallation.)
¶ Installing a New Ink Cartridge
- Cleaning the Ink Tube: After removing the cartridge, clean the end of the tube thoroughly. Wipe around the tube carefully with a lint-free cloth to ensure smooth operation.
- Align the ink tube with the interface of the new ink cartridge and insert it fully, ensuring the entire cartridge connector is seated in the tube to maintain airtightness. (For dual-ended cartridges, insert them in the same color sequence as before.)

Step 2: Draw ink from the ink cartridge using a syringe
- Release the ink tube clip, hold the ink cartridge with the connection port facing upward, align the syringe with the plastic nozzle to the ink cartridge's opening, and draw ink into the cartridge. Stop when ink appears in the syringe and the liquid level inside the cartridge exceeds half its capacity.
- Insert the connected ink cartridge into the white ink cartridge cover in the same position as before, align it with the print head interface, and you will feel a noticeable resistance; push the cartridge firmly into place.

Step 2: Turn on the power switch
- Insert the white clip, then turn on the printer power; the print head will automatically reset.
- After resetting, run the printer ink refilling program and observe the ink slowly filling the cartridge until it stops. (For other cartridges that have not been replaced and do not require refilling, simply secure the ink tube clip firmly.)
- After completion, move the print head to the center and install the protective cover.
