- DTF Moisturizing Liquid is primarily used to maintain ink stability in DTF printing systems, reduce the risk of printhead drying and clogging, and help equipment maintain optimal printing performance during shutdowns or low-frequency usage.
- Proper use of the moisturizing solution can effectively extend the printhead lifespan, improve printing stability, and reduce issues such as ink drying out, ink interruption, and nozzle abnormalities.
2.1 Check Product Condition
- Please confirm before use:
- DTF Moisturizing Liquid has a normal color, with no obvious impurities or sediment;
- The bottle cap is sealed properly;
- It has not exceeded the recommended expiration date.
- Do not continue to use if the liquid appears cloudy, discolored, or has an unusual odor.
3.1 Routine Maintenance
- Turn off the printer and follow the device maintenance procedure;
- Use clean, dust-free tools to add or replace the moisturizing fluid;
- Ensure the moisturizing fluid is properly placed in the designated location to avoid contaminating the ink path or printing components;
- Immediately close the bottle cap after use to prevent prolonged exposure to air.
3.2 Long-Term Shutdown Protection
- When the device is expected to be unused for more than 3–7 days:
- It is recommended to keep the print head moisturized for protection;
- Ensure sufficient amount of moisturizing solution to prevent the print head from drying out due to prolonged exposure;
- Before restarting and printing, perform nozzle inspection and cleaning first.
- To ensure the stability of DTF Moisturizing Liquid's performance, please store it under the following conditions:
- Storage Requirements
- Storage temperature: 15–30°C
- Avoid direct sunlight;
- Avoid high temperatures and freezing conditions;
- Keep the storage area clean and free of dust.
Packaging Requirements
- Keep the original packaging sealed when unused;
- Close the bottle cap promptly after opening;
- Avoid prolonged exposure to open air to prevent dust and moisture from entering.
- DTF-related consumables (such as inks, adhesive powders, etc.) are generally sensitive to temperature and humidity; it is recommended to maintain a stable environment to prevent moisture and contamination from affecting material performance.
⚠️ Do not:
Mixing DTF Moisturizing Liquid with liquids from other brands;
Using contaminated or long-exposed-to-air moisturizers;
Using unclean tools to handle the product;
Applying the moisturizer directly to non-designated areas.
✅ Recommendation:
Use dedicated tools for operation;
Regularly check the print head condition;
Establish maintenance cycles based on equipment usage frequency.
Q: If the print head becomes clogged, can I directly add more moisturizing solution?
A: Not recommended. Moisturizing solution is primarily used for preventing dryness and maintenance, not for replacing professional cleaning solutions in dealing with severe clogging issues.
Q: How long can a moisturizer be stored after opening?
A: It is recommended to use as soon as possible after opening and to keep sealed. For specific shelf life, please refer to the product label instructions.
Q: Do I need to add moisturizing solution daily if the device is not used for a long time?
A: There is no need for frequent addition; maintenance should be carried out according to the equipment structure and actual conditions to avoid excessive use.
- Actual performance may vary due to differences in storage conditions, equipment models, and operating methods. Please strictly follow the manufacturer's maintenance requirements and the product usage guidelines.
- Proper use and storage of DTF moisturizing solution helps improve printing stability and extend equipment lifespan.
