Verify the heat press has proper earthing. Keep flammable items away and maintain a clean workbench free of debris.
Prepare unfinished perler bead artwork assembled on pegboard, high-temperature release paper / baking parchment, and special mat for your pressing method (waffle mat, etc).
Check the heating plate for leftover beads or adhesive stains. If contaminated, wipe with a soft cloth only after the unit fully cools down.
For first use or after shift change, run one full heating cycle without workpiece to verify heating, pressure and auto-lift function work properly.
Follows official machine step 1~2:
Step 1: Power on. Plug into grounded outlet, press power button on control panel. Screen lights up and enters standby mode.
Step 2: Select Mode. Use button (c) to choose Custom mode. Do NOT use preset DTF/DTG modes, these parameters are designed for heat transfer prints and not suitable for perler beads.
Step 3: Set Temperature. Refer to parameter table below based on artwork size & pressing method. Perler bead melting point:140~150℃. Never exceed 155℃.
Step 4: Set Time. Input pressing time (seconds) from the parameter table.
Step 5: Set Pressure. Normal pressing:70~80Pa; special techniques: set to light pressure 50~60Pa as shown in table.
Step 6: Rotate heating plate to safe position. After setting parameters, swing upper heating plate outward to expose lower platen. Complete this before placing beads to avoid burns.
Follows official machine step 3:
Lay pegboard with assembled beads flat on center of lower heating plate, bead front side facing upward.
Cover the beads fully with high-temperature release paper (baking parchment / Teflon sheet). Do not let beads touch heating plate directly.
For waffle pressing, place dedicated waffle mat on top of release paper. Follow mat requirements for other pressing styles.
Align artwork properly, then swing upper heating plate inward back to working position, centered over lower platen.
Do NOT start pressing now. Wait until panel shows target temperature reached (with notification) before next step.
Follows official machine step 4~5:
When buzzer sounds and panel indicates target temperature achieved, press Auto Start button.
Heating plate will auto-close and press with preset pressure & time. Do not force the plate or put hands within pressing zone during operation.
Buzzer will sound again once countdown finishes, heating plate lifts automatically. The artwork remains hot; do not touch by hand immediately.
Swing upper heating plate outward to reveal finished piece.
Follows official machine step 6:
Use tweezers or heat-resistant gloves to transfer artwork together with release paper onto heat-insulated work surface.
Let it cool naturally for 10~15 seconds until beads fully harden before moving or flipping.
Single-side pressing complete. For double-sided pressing, flip piece and repeat step3~5 with same temperature, half pressing time.
Peel off release paper after cooling and check fusion: beads should bond firmly without looseness, edges no warping or shrinkage.
After all work finished, press power button to shut down, unplug power cord. Clean workbench only after heating plate fully cools.
This machine delivers 10Pa higher pressure than common models, time is adjusted shorter. Do not copy parameters from other brands.
| Size Spec | Temperature(℃) | Pressure(Pa) | Time(sec) | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Extra Small (3~4cm) | 145 | 70 | 22 | |
| Small (6~7cm) | 145 | 70 | 35 | |
| 2 Small Pieces | 145 | 70 | 38 | |
| Medium (Standard Board) | 150 | 75 | 35 | |
| Medium-Large | 150 | 75 | 40 | |
| Large (Nearly Full Platen) | 150 | 80 | 45 | 4 pcs 52×52 boards placed together |
| Extra Large (104×104) | 150 | 80 | 58 | 4 pcs 52×52 boards placed together |
| Pressing Method | Temperature(℃) | Pressure(Pa) | Medium Size Time(sec) | Key Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Waffle Press | 145~150 | 50 (Light) | 100 | Must use waffle mat, minimum pressure |
| Fine Glitter Press | 145~150 | 50 | 95 | Glitter side up, temp ≤150℃ |
| Chunky Glitter Press | 145~150 | 50~60 | 95 | Light pressure to avoid glitter embedding |
| Gloss Amber Finish | 150~155 | 50~60 | 160 | Use upper temp limit, do not open mid-cycle |
| Cinderella Style Press | 145~150 | 50 | 110 | Do not over-press, keep semi-transparent look |
| Towel Texture Press | 150 | 50 (Min) | 100 | Light & short press to retain bead texture |
Low temperature or insufficient time. Increase temperature by 5℃ or add 5s for next test run.
Excess temperature or long pressing time. Reduce to 145℃ and cut time by 5~10s.
Pressure too high. Set pressure to minimum 50Pa and verify correct waffle mat.
Temperature over 150℃ or over-pressed. Keep ≤145℃, glitter side facing up.
When flipping for second side, keep same temperature but halve pressing time.
Power off immediately, wait fully cool. Gently scrape with wood/nylon scraper. No metal blade (will damage coating).
Heating plate can exceed 150℃ during operation. Never touch barehanded.
Do not place hands under platen during pressing. Do not force heating plate.
Max temperature 155℃ for perler beads. Overheating causes dripping molten beads and smoke.
Do not leave unattended while running. Cut power immediately if smoke or strange odor occurs.
Power off & unplug daily after work. Clean only after heating plate fully cools.
